Studio Policies

To make your experience as smooth as possible, below is the polices of Lorie-Lyn Photography. 
It’s best to know what to expect from the me and what I expect from you before your session begins.

Payment

Cash, check or major credit card are accepted for session fee.  Please make all checks payable to your photographer, Lorie-lyn Photography.  Online orders may be paid via credit card or PayPal.  Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs once sent, cannot be returned; Lorie-Lyn Photography has a strict NO REFUNDS policy.  All product pricing are subject to change without notice.  All products are subject to your state sales tax and shipping when applicable.

Proofs & Ordering

After your portrait session, your photos  will be posted online approximately 2-3 weeks after the date of your portrait session. Clients may elect to have meet with the photographer for an Ordering Session.    The online album will be available for 30 days from the date of email invitation to allow client and their friends and family to purchase photography products.

Weather/Failure to Perform

If inclement weather or other adverse conditions prevent the session from meeting the photographer's artistic standards she may elect to reschedule.  If the photographer cannot perform due to illness or emergency the session fee will be refunded to the client if reschedule is not possible.  The photographer will have no further liability to the contract.  This limitation on liability also applies in the event that photograph materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damage without fault on the part of the photographer.

Digital Files

Upon receipt of digital files, the CLIENT accepts all  responsibility for archiving and protecting the photographs.  Lorie-Lyn Photography is not responsible for the lifespan of any digital media provided or for any future changes in digital technology or media readers that might result in the inability to read discs provided.  It is the CLIENT's responsibility to make sure that digital files are copied to new media as required.

Social Media

Lorie-Lyn Photography will pose a low-resolution, watermarked sneak peak of your session on our blog (www.lorielynphotography.com/blog).  The sneak peak photos will also be posted on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+.  Clients are more than welcome to "tag" themselves on social media outlets and share with their friends and family.

All images are copyrighted by Lorie-Lyn Photography.  It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy and reproduce my work in any manner or medium.

Image Release

By agreeing to a photography session with Lorie-Lyn Photography, you grant Lorie-Lyn Photography the irrecovable right to use your name, picture, portrait or photograph in all forms and in all media and in all manners, without any restriction as to changes or alternations for advertising, trade, promotion, exhibition, or any other lawful purposes and I waive any right to inspect or approve the photograph(s) or finished versions(s) incorporating the photograph(s), including written copy that may be created and appear in connection therewith.  

Portrait Care

Handle your portraits with extreme care.  Damage incurred as a result of improper handling, framing or hanging is the responsibility  of the Client.
